Standard false lashes were not made for monolid eyes. The lid presses down on the band, hides the inner lashes, and flattens the curl, so you spend money on lashes that seem to disappear the moment you open your eyes. These magnetic lashes for monolid eyes were curated to solve that. Inside, you'll find four styles chosen specifically for their visible curl, lightweight fibres, and monolid-friendly shapes that help open and lift.
Curls that lift past the lid fold, so your lashes stay visible, not hidden
Lightweight fibres that resist the downward pressure of the monolid
4 styles from natural everyday wear to evening volume, each one chosen to open and lift
12-Hour Hold Liner + Applicator Tool included, everything you need in one box
Designed for monolid eyes, Asian eye shapes, and partial monolids. No trimming needed on most monolid eyes.
What our monolid customers say
"I have smaller Asian eyes, hooded. These open the eye. Great. Love them." Lyn M. ★★★★★
Hey Gorgeous! We've put together a list of our most commonly asked questions for you. Check them out below, if you can't find the answer you are looking for, you can get in touch at the end of this page.
What's Inside Your Kit
Each style in this set was chosen for a specific reason — to give women with monolid and Asian eye shapes a range of looks from natural daytime wear to evening volume, without the frustrations that come with standard lashes.
Nadia — The Doll-Eye Opener
Nadia was chosen for the area monolid eyes struggle with most: visible lift through the centre of the eye. Her rounded shape places the longest fibres above the iris, helping create a wide, awake look where lashes are often hidden. The shorter accent band makes placement easy, and her subtle finish is perfect for everyday wear.
Sarah — The Daytime Wing
Sarah adds a soft lift to the outer corner of the eye, creating a natural winged effect that elongates without looking heavy. She is especially flattering on monolid eyes because she opens and stretches the eye shape without swallowing lid space. Her accent-length band means no trimming on most monolid eyes.

Cornel — The Natural Layer
Cornel gives you that "your lashes, but better" look — fuller, neater, and more defined without looking overdone. Her strong curl projects outward so the lashes stay visible instead of being pressed flat by the lid. With even fibre placement across the band, she creates the balanced open-eye effect that suits monolid eyes beautifully. She is also glasses-friendly.
Helena — The Evening Lift
Helena is your dress-up lash: soft, wispy volume with enough visible lift to transform the eye without adding heaviness. She gives monolid eyes that fluttery evening effect so many standard lashes fail to deliver. On very petite monolid eyes, she may need a small trim — see our quick trimming guide — but the payoff is a lifted, defined finish for date nights, events, and photos. She is also glasses-friendly.
Why standard lashes fail on monolid eyes — and what we did differently
On monolid eyes, the eyelid sits very close to the lash line, with no visible crease to help hold a lash shape in place. That means standard false lashes often get pushed downward, the inner fibres disappear, and flatter curls become almost invisible once applied.
This is why magnetic lashes for monolid eyes need to be curated differently. The four styles in this set share the qualities monolid eyes actually need: curls strong enough to project past the lid, lightweight fibres that resist downward pressure, and shapes that place visible length where your eye naturally shows it best. Instead of fighting your eye shape, these styles work with it.
The magnetic system adds another advantage. There is no messy glue drying on a smooth lid surface, and you can reposition the lash until the placement looks right. Over 80,000 lashes sold — including to women with monolid, Asian, and petite eye shapes across Australia and worldwide.
How to apply magnetic lashes on monolid eyes
Apply a thin line of the included magnetic liner along your upper lash line. Keep it fine and close to the lashes — on monolid eyes, a thick line can take up valuable lid space.
Wait 60 seconds for the liner to become tacky.
Using the applicator tool, place the lash at the outer corner first, then press inward along the lash line.
The magnets will snap onto the liner. Adjust the placement while the liner is still tacky if needed.
Blend with a little mascara on your natural lashes for a seamless finish.
Tip: If your monolid tends to get oily, lightly dust translucent powder on your lid before applying liner. This helps the liner grip for longer wear.
Frequently Asked Questions
What's the difference between monolid and hooded eyes?
Monolid eyes have no visible crease — the lid appears as one smooth surface from lash line to brow bone. Hooded eyes do have a crease, but extra skin folds over it and partially hides it. Both eye shapes can make lash application tricky, but they need different solutions. This set was designed specifically for monolid eyes.
Will these lashes disappear under my eyelid?
That is exactly what this set was designed to prevent. Each style was selected for its curl strength and fibre placement so the lashes project outward past the monolid fold instead of being pressed flat. Styles like Nadia and Cornel help keep the visible lift where monolid eyes show it most.
Do I need to buy the liner separately?
No. The 12-Hour Hold Double Bond Liner and Applicator Tool are both included in this set, so everything you need comes in the box. The liner is formulated by a cosmetic chemist and is latex-free, making it a gentle option for sensitive eyes and skin.
Will these work under glasses?
Yes. Cornel and Helena are both glasses-friendly, and the shorter accent styles Nadia and Sarah sit comfortably under most frames. If you wear progressive lenses or larger frames, all four styles should still be suitable for most wearers.
Are magnetic lashes good for monolid and Asian eyes?
Yes — magnetic lashes are often easier on monolid and Asian eye shapes than traditional glue-on lashes. There is no messy adhesive to manage on a smooth lid surface, no awkward drying time, and you can reposition the lash until placement is right. The key is choosing styles with strong curls and lightweight fibres that stay visible above the monolid fold, which is exactly what this set provides.

The Bec Lashes are my favourite pair of lashes. Love this company and have been a loyal user for several years now. I absolutely love the new pen liner as well and will definitely be buying it going forward.
First time user of Witchy lashes after chemo treatment. Having lost most of my lashes, I thought I had no options. Found these lashes and used them once so far. They stayed in all day, felt comfortable and looked beyond amazing.
I just received the clear pen and more natural look lashes as I wanted to look more like the “ old “ me… I’m 52 so the big fluffy lashes are a bit aging for me. And the black liner looks heavy.
Look forward to trying the new clear pen & lash set soon.
Thank you for your passion in your products I’ll be ordering again for sure.
THESE ARE THE ONLY LASHES I CAN APPLY! I can't apply other lashes im terrible at them !! Witchy lashes are sooooo much easier to apply.
I have the magic box set and natural lashes set and a few from past collections. There are so many volumes to choose from and you can reuse them again and again and I found when I cut them that they still looked good. Other brands annoyed me when I cut them to fit my eye as they didnt look right.
The lashes are so easy to apply and take off. Genuinely less than 5 minutes. I don't have to spend time cleaning glue off my natural lashes and eyelids which is great. They start falling off after about 9 or 10 hours, but that's still quite a long time.
I love the concept of magnetic lashes and using the liner is easy and straight forward. Unfortunately the natural lashes were out of stock so I went with the "fan" option as it was the next best option. It's still a bit overdone for an every day look but ok for going out to dinner and drinks casually. I find the band of these lashes too stiff. They're not curving to fit my lash line and keep popping off at the ends. I've worked with them to curl them but it's not working with all 3 lash options. The Abigail's (photo) work ok but the Jill's won't stay on even a few hours. I'm left feeling a bit mixed about the magenetic lash option.

Hi Christine, thank you for the detailed feedback — this is really helpful. You're absolutely right that the fan/glam styles have a heavier band due to the extra lash fibres. For fuller styles like these, we recommend applying 3 coats of liner to get a strong enough hold, each coat builds the magnetic bond, and with 3 coats you should get a full day of secure wear. The natural styles have fewer fibres and a much more flexible band, so they're lighter and easier to keep in place. We're actually launching a new magnetic natural lash range soon that I think you'd love, keep an eye out! In the meantime, try the 3-coat method with your Abigail's and see if that makes a difference. - Marcha
I love these lashes I needed to get out the door quickly on with the magnetic lashes and their so easy to put on I wore them to my friends wedding and got compliments on how pretty the looked their my fav go to
I have had lash extensions in the past. Very time consuming then have to have refills. Again time and money. A client friend told me about Witchy Lashes how easy they are to apply literally in the car park with the magnetic eye-liner stays on all day until you remove them no irritation natural looking. She also mentioned the glasses range as I wear glasses all the timeI knew I had to try. I am hooked My son noticed them and said wow mum they look really great and complete your face. My clients have said I look different and noticed the Lashes. Thank you Josephine Grey for selling them to me. The name is a sign for her as she has a connection with witches in a good way.
Thank you to Witchy Lashes. I feel fabulous
It took me a while to finally decide to spend this money on lashes, but I’m so glad I finally did! I found them easy to apply, they lasted all night and looked great!
The Bella lash is gorgeous! Beautiful full volume and great length. I felt so good wearing them recently for my birthday dinner! And so so easy to apply using the new magnetic liner duo! LOVE! 💗
I love the dramatic lashes for everyday wear and the box sets are so pretty (and cost effective)! I’m currently wearing the Marelize lashes, which were kindly included as a freebie. These are my new favourites 😍
I am a first time false lash wearer of any kind, but I hit the jackpot with this set. Three great styles of lash to choose from and the oil is such a gentle way to remove the liner afterwards.
If you are diving in for the first time, I recommend this boxed set, its all you will need for months!
Note: I am 60 next year and thought I would feel silly wearing false lashes but I get compliments all the time. I dont leave home without them now ♥
Love these there subtle but cute and found them so easy to apply. Ordered 3 more dramatic pairs and they were the same too :-) only issue I have is the liner can be a bit tricky to remove from the eyelash bed but all in all so happy with this purchase xx

Hello Hannah! Thank you so much for leaving your feedback. We listened and have now developed a new Melting Balm that completely removes the liner in one go. It is super smooth and leaves no residue. I would love for you to try it. Please get in touch via cs@witchylashes.com.au for a discount.
I do love these lashes and how they look on. They are super easy to apply and stay in place. I was impressed when I was out the other night with huge wind gusts and they stayed on.
The only gripe I have is with the liner itself. I'm not sure if it's because that's how it is because it's magnetic, but I find it very thick/gloopy and hard to apply accurately. I'm fairly skilled with lining my eyes, but yet to master applying a thin, defined line, even after putting regular liner underneath for increased accuracy. I also find the product very hard to remove, even with the oil supplied, it takes a fair few gos to get rid of it.
That said, I would still purchase more sets as I do love the look of them.

The Laura lashes are very low key and cute! They're quite delicate and don't look obvious, just looks like perfectly applied, expensive mascara. The liner is very hardy though and difficult to get off I usually need 2 rounds of the cleansing oil and makeup remover to get it off and it does get stuck to your real lashes easily so a few of them have come off, and they lift on the inner corner so you have to set them with your finger for a while when applying. These are a great alternative if you usually get extensions but are in lockdown x

I was really suprised how easily the witchy lashes went on and stayed on.
Last year i tried another Australian brand with no luck at all. I thought it was me that i just couldnt put magnetic lashes on but Witchy lashes went on and stayed on. They looked natural and i am very happy with them.
As a complete newbie to magnetic lashes I have to admit that it has taken me more than a week to pluck up the courage to try my new purchase out! What was I thinking? Why didn’t I try these years ago? I bought the Laura set & the lashes themselves are absolutely beautiful and so easy to apply with the liner. Marcha was brilliant & answered all of my questions patiently and thoroughly. Such good customer service & I’m so happy to support such a great Australian company.
I haven’t used them yet, I have set myself up for success in case I lose my hair during my chemo treatment I have just a started.
I’ll send a photo when I use them and I’ll do a review for you, thank you I like it when companies realise it matters that your customers like your product and have a nice customer experience
Enjoy your weekend xx Kim
Beautiful lashes! Great quality and together with the liner they stay on all day and night. Wore these to town and they lasted on the dance floor too. Easy to clean, ready for next time
I finally got a chance to use my lashes. I have the Maggie and they looked really good I did trim them as I do have small eyes and my left prob needs to be trimmed a bit more. But overall I am happy with the look. Eye-liner pretty easy to use as I am not a big makeup person.
I've tried many magnetic lashes in the past, which all had awful results. Either they were impossible to apply, or the magnetic liner wasn't strong enough.
I was sceptical at first, but thought I'd give these a go. I'm so glad I did. Not only are they beautiful and so easy to apply. The liner is strong and has great hold, and the lashes themselves are comfortable and light for all day wear.
Highly recommended.
OBSESSED with the amber lashes!!! I got 2 different styles to try and this one is my favourite because they're not too long, perfect for an almond eye shape to give that cat eye sleekness. Again- obsessed!
